Activision has announced that handheld gamers won’t be left out come November 9, when Call of Duty: Black Ops is released to the world. They’ll get their very own version, developed by company n-Space, with unique touch screen features that will add an extra element to the action.

Another day, another explosive firefight
Dan O’Leary, leader of the n-Space development studio, states, “Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Nintendo DS is going to take the handheld Call of Duty experience to a new level. From taking the controls of an attack helicopter to flying an experimental stealth fighter jet, players will have a wealth of new features to utilize.”
Players will also be able to delve into a six player online multiplayer mode, as well as a two-player co-operative mode between two separate DS systems. That’s in addition to Arcade and Challenge Mods, which provide the single player action, both of which feature a points system for unlocking extra achievements.
