Bungie Confirms New IP, Working with Chinese Internet Technology Company NetEase

Bungie is known for creating the Halo and Destiny franchises. While the Halo games made by Bungie are still considered the best FPS games ever made Destiny has had a hard time attempting to reach that same acclaim. However, the studio has confirmed that they've partnered with the Chinese Internet technology company NetEase to create a brand new intellectual property.

The blog post states they stating its "long-term goal is to become an entertainment company that sustains many worlds simultaneously" but didn't state any details on the new project.

Bungie did assure fans that Destiny will not be impacted by this new partnership stating "Our commitment to that world is not diminished by this announcement".

NetEase is a Chinese company who've done work with Blizzard with titles such as Overwatch and World of Warcraft.
