Dead Island Riptide Available April 2013

Today Deep Silver announced that Dead Island Riptide will be available this April. The first game in the Dead Island franchise left off with Xian, Sam, Logan, and Purna escaping the island of Banoi in a helicopter to the safety of a military ship; or so they thought.

 

Dead Island Riptide picks up with the ship caught in a deadly storm. The virus spreads throughout the ship's crew and the heroes find themselves once again fighting off the undead.

The game is now available for pre-order at EB Canada, GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy with each store offering a Steelbook case as an exclusive pre-order item. The Dead Island Riptide Special Edition will include a pack of exclusive weapon mods, a digital strategy map, and a unique character skin.

Dead Island Riptide is scheduled to release on April 23rd 2013.
