Death Stranding Trailer Underwater Scene is Playable
Death Stranding's latest trailer did show playable footage
News by Grayshadow on Dec 09, 2017
It would seem that Death Stranding's latest trailer shown at this year's The Game Awards did provide some playable scenes.
According to creator Hideo Kojima when speaking to PlayStation 4's architect Mark Cerny at PlayStation Experience, the underwater scene shown in the trailer is playable. What gameplay portions of the scene are playable wasn't made clear.
In the same interview, Kojima revealed that the trailer was running on the PS4 Pro. This is shocking seeing that most trailers either use extremely powerful PCs or vertical cuts in an attempt to sell the game to consumers. This means that the recent trailer was a representative of the full game.
As of now, the trailer didn't provide much information, other than something regarding a second big bang-like situation, but fans have been combing through the trailer to find any hidden details.
Death Stranding will release on PS4 exclusively.
