Publisher Mixtvision has announced that atmospheric puzzler FAR: Lone Sails is headed to consoles early next month, following a succesful PC launch last year. The title, in which you play as a mysterious lone figure traversing a wasteland with the help of a strange ship, is scheduled to arrive on both PS4 and Xbox One on April 2nd.
Those eager enough can jump in and pre-order it from the European PlayStation Store starting today, or from the Microsoft Store starting tomorrow, March 19th, at 6AM UTC. While reviewing FAR: Lone Sails' PC version, I was smitten with how strikingly beautiful its desolation could get, courtesy of excellent visuals, but also well placed musical moments. A meditative journey that also brings intensity to the mix, it also made our 2018 Editor's Choice article.
Check out the FAR: Lone Sails console launch trailer and keep an eye out for this little gem, if you fancy this particular breed of indies.
