Jesper Kyd To Score Warhammer: Vermintide 2

As Warhammer: Vermintide 2 draws closer, Fatshark have released information about the upcoming title's soundtrack. BAFTA award-winning Danish composer Jesper Kyd will return to score the second entry in the series.

"Inspired by Norse mythology, Jesper Kyd’s original score for Vermintide 2 explores ancient tribal music and dark magic fantasy elements as well as evolving the raw acoustic soundscape he developed for the first game. Kyd channels his Scandinavian roots, blending Viking and Norse-inspired vocals, ritualistic percussion styles and new custom-made instruments built specifically for Vermintide 2, to create another unique soundtrack experience."

Three tracks are available online for those interested in getting a taste of what's to come. They are titled "Entering The War Camp", "Norsca Chaos" and "Troll Fight". Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will pit players against both Skaven and Chaos Warriors. The game is set to launch on PC and consoles in early 2018.
