MGS Peace Walker Gets Release Date

After constantly teasing fans with European and Japanese release dates, Konami has said that the next installment will be out in May of next year aswell, but two days before the game hits the shelves in Europe. According to Konami this will be a complete sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3 as Peace Walker will take place in 1974, in the country of Costa Rica. The storyline is in many ways meant to be a bridge between the origins of Big Boss and the role he played in Outer Heaven.

 

Saying Peace Walker impressed us at Tokyo Game Show would be an understatement, with fans on the edge of their seats ever since its announcement. The game was mainly praised for its revamped controls which have been a controversial issue for some time. PSP will get its own version on May 25.
