Microsoft Rumored to Release 2 Models of Project Scarlett, One With and One Without a Disc Drive

The Xbox One comes in a variety of models. The standard, S model, Xbox One X, and all-digital model. The discless option is cheaper compared to the other Xbox Ones and apparently Microsoft is looking to debut the next Xbox with a disc drive and one without one.

Now, in a new report from Kotaku, a new report, Lockhart, the “lesser” version of the two models of Scarlett, will serve as a disc-less version of the platform. It won't have a disc drive and Lockhart would reportedly be a bit less powerful. With the Anaconda version of Scarlett would essentially be the new equivalent of the Xbox One X.

My guess, the Lockhart model will be around $100 less, similar to the Xbox One digital option.
