Naughty Dog Promotes Neil Druckmann to Vice President

Naughty Dog has revealed a few changes to the company, with president Evan Wells announcing that Neil Druckmann, a longtime veteran of the studio and director of several Uncharted games, has been promoted to Vice President of Naughty Dog.

Made known on the company's blog stating that Druckmann would be taking on a larger role within the company. He will remain as creative director of The Last of Us: Part 2 but Uncharted: The Lost Legacy director Kurt Margenau and designer Anthony Newman will take on the role as co-directors of the game.

We’re also excited to announce that Anthony Newman and Kurt Margenau are the joint Game Directors on The Last of Us Part II. Both Kurt and Anthony joined Naughty Dog during Uncharted 2 and have been instrumental in leading the design department, and have been key contributors on our subsequent games. Emilia Schatz and Richard Cambier are the Lead Designers that round out the extremely talented design department’s leadership team.

Naughty Dog's current project, The Last of Us: Part 2 is now in development for PS4.
