Neon-noir Story-based Exploration Title Cloudpunk Launches Next Week on PC

Maple Whispering Limited and Ion Lands are gearing up for the release of neon-noir, story-based exploration title Cloudpunk, which is set to launch on PC–via Steam–next week, on April 23rd. In Cloudpunk, players take on the role of Rania, as she begins her first night as delivery driver for the eponymous, "semi-legal" delivery company.

The various available delivery jobs take her "from the Marrow below to the spires that pierce the grey clouds high above before scraping the edge of the troposphere", while also introducing her to the different characters that inhabit the city of Nivalis, from androids to AIs and unscrupulous humans.

Aside from getting a better sense of what drives the city's inhabitants and how things work in Nivalis, Rania's decisions can end up having a large impact on the people she meets. Players will be able to explore the city both via an upgradeable vehicle and on foot.

Cloudpunk is set to arrive on consoles later in 2020. Check it out in action in its latest trailer.
