Spider-Man PS4 recently went gold and its world tour finished. But as fans eagerly wait for the game to release next month PlayStation Access got to speak with creative director Brian Intihar while playing the first 15 minutes of the game.
In the footage, the game starts off by showing off Spider-Man's stealth skills. It does resemble Rocksteady's Batman Arkham system but instead of explosives and scare tactics, there are web shooting and quick takedowns.
In addition, Intihar showcased Spider-Man traveling throughout NYC using newly shown swing animations. Each one provides small bonus experience rewards for players.
Speaking of exploration, while Spider-Man can stop crimes these acts will become increasingly more violent as the game progresses. Adding more variety to the game.
The footage wraps up with short clips of the battle between Kingpin and a cinematic of Peter Parker and Aunt May working with Martin Li, also known as Mr. Negative.
Spider-Man PS4 releases on September 7th for PS4.
