Nioh Sold Over 2 Million Copies Worldwide

Nioh is one of the PS4's biggest exclusive titles, using dark fantasy with Japanese myth. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja developed a Dark Souls-like title that took advantage of a unique combat system that required proper timing, stances, and enemy placement instead of brute force. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that the game sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

This an impressive accomplishment for a new IP. The game received plenty of post-launch content that kept gamers hooked and new update polished the already high-quality mechanics.

Nioh is now available for PS4 and PC.
