Notorious Game Designers Team Up for Daemon X Machina

Nintendo didn't open up with a game from Zelda, Mario, or Metroid but instead went with an entirely new IP called Darmon X Machina.

The game also includes acclaimed designers Shoji Kawamori from Armored Core 2 and 3 and producer Kenichiro Tsukuda from the same games. No More Heroes character designer Yusuke Kozaki, SoulCalibur composer Junichi Nakatsuru, and  Ryo Hamamoto known for the Tekken series.

The trailer focuses entirely on robot on robot fighting with lots of explosions. So basically everything great about robot battles.

Darmon X Machina is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019.
