Pokémon Card Game: Black & White

Hey kids. Remember that Pokémon card craze around the turn of the millennium? Me and my huge map filled with cards sure do. That is, until some little Gary stole all my trading card decks and rare collection, including many irreplaceable promotional issues, such as the overpowered Mewtwo from the first film. I don’t want to go in detail, but adding my incredibly pricy Magic: The Gathering cards, you could probably buy your first car with what I lost then.
 

Even though I got one Mewtwo back, my collection is now void of decent rare cards.
 

Anyway, back to some point. Some of you will be pleased to know that the Trading Card Game is still in full force and will be releasing a set for the new Black & White expansion. Three themed decks available; being Green Tornado, Red Frenzy, and Blue Assault will get accompanied with boosters to introduce 70 new critters in the brand new region of Unova. But how is this game news?

I was getting to that too, geez. Can’t there ever be a nice backstory; it always needs to be straight fact? Well, that just makes me digress more. In any case, it is game news. As the expansion will launch April 6th, the decks will also include a code which players can redeem to unlock the same cards in the newly announced Pokémon Trading Card Online: Trainer Challenge! That’s right, online card play is finally happening and will give players the ability to battle against fourteen virtual TCG players in three Leagues. So, store away those Gameboys, because card games are back!
