Rainbow Six Siege Operation Skull Rain Revealed

The latest expansion for Rainbow Six Siege has players traveling to Brazil.

Called Operation Skull Rain players can expect two new operators. Caveira is a defensive operator, with her Silent Step skill she can sneak up on enemies, immobilize them, and interrogate them for the location of their allies. Capitao is an attacker that comes with a tactical crossbow that shoots fire asphyxiating bolts.

Both operators are part of Brazil’s Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais. Operation Skull Point will take place in a favela and is going to be the game's "most destructible map to date" according to Ubisoft. The map will be free for all players.

Other upcoming additions for the main game include a new custom game mode called Tactical Realism, which prevents players from marking enemies, and limited HUD. Tactical mode won't include any kill confirmations.

In addition players can expect a new angled grip attachment and a surrender system. This system allows players to surrent during a ranked match if the majority vote agrees before the third round.

Operation Skull Rain will launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on August 2nd.
