Resistance 3 In the Works?

With the success of its games like Resistance: Fall of Man and its sequel, Resistance 2, then throw in others such as the Ratchet and Clank and Spyro the Dragon series, it is no surprise that Insomniac Games would announce the third Resistance game to complete this Playstation 3-exclusive trilogy. Insomniac did announce a PS3 exclusive was in development back in March, and it was obvious they were talking about Resistance 3. The source of the image came from a NeoGAF forum.

 

The billboard was found in Louisiana, and it has been confirmed the same billboard will appear in an upcoming movie titled, Battle: Los Angeles. The film is said to commence filming somewhere in the Shreveport area, and is expected to be released in theaters sometime in 2011. This could mean that Resistance 3 will most likely be complete and released the same year.

 

Lastly, observe the image. In the past, Insomniac Games has used the ‘A’ in the game’s title for a clue indicating each game would take place in. Looks like Resistance 3 will be set in the Big Apple. Sony has not commented on the subject yet, but in time, they will.
