FromSoftware's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was a huge success

Since leaving the Dark Souls franchise behind FromSoftware has been diving into other titles. The most recent being Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that resurfaced the vexing debate about game difficulty and many were worried about since it was published by Activision. Thankfully, the game didn't have the insidious microtransactions Activision games are notorious for and was a complete experience teeming with challenging boss fights and an incredible world to explore.
Today, Activision revealed the game sold 5 million copies and is getting DLC for free this October 29th.
The DLC will provide a boss rush mode, rematch previous bosses in single fights, new outfits, and recording system.
Players can test their skills against a string of fights or rematch 1 specific type of fight. You can dawn new 3 new cosmetic outfits that include Tengu and Old Ashina Shinobi. These are unlocked by completing the boss challenges and the third by beating the game.
Lastly, players can record 30-second clips and share them with the community. This is to help players struggling with fights with in-game tutorials of how to improve their skills. With ratings providing healing benefits to the owner.
If you're done with Ghost of Tsushima or looking for another Japanese themed samurai/ninja title than you should try Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Be warned, this game carries the same difficulty as Dark Souls so prepare for some pain.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. FromSoftware is currently working on a new title, Elden Ring with Bandai Namco.
