Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm arrives March 12, 2013

Starcraft 2's first expansion is nearly here. After a good couple years of waiting,  news of a tentative release date has finally arrived. March 12, 2013, is the date.



Blizzard also announced its "Digital Deluxe" and collector's editions. The former comes with extras for both Starcraft 2 itself and Blizzard's other games, World of Warcraft and Diablo 3, such as pets and weapons. The latter contains a "behind the scenes" DVD, soundtrack, and art book in addition to the Digital Deluxe's bonus items. These versions will cost $80 (for the collector's edotion) and $60 (for the Digital Deluxe), respectively.
