Summoners War Esports Championship Preliminary Rounds Start This Weekend

Summoners War is one of the most popular mobile games in the world. With some of the greatest players battling it out for a chance at a prize pool of $210,000. The first obstacle being the preliminary rounds starting this August 28th until August 30th.

The preliminary rounds include 40 competitors from Asia-Pacific, 16 from Americas, and 16 from EU. With 8 players advancing to the Regional Cups. This includes the America's Cup on October 24th, Asia-Pacific Cup on October 31st, and EU Cup on November 7th.

Audiences can watch the world’s top Summoners War players compete on the monster collecting game’s YouTube and Twitch channels. The Americas Cup preliminaries will stream in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Schedules for worldwide preliminaries are as follows:

·         Asia-Pacific Cup preliminaries – 10 a.m. PT on Friday, Aug. 28 and Saturday, Aug. 29

·         Americas Cup preliminaries – 12 p.m. PT on Saturday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 30
