Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Will Include 5 New Fighters to the Franchise

Super Smash Bros Wii U included new fighters such as Cloud from Final Fantasy 7, Bayonetta, and Ryu from Street Fighter that were never part of the series. Now, Nintendo is planning to do the same with Super Smash Bros Ultimate with 5 new characters that have never been part of the franchise.

Each character will cost $5.99 or can be prepurchased for $24.99. There was no clue who these fighters are but Sakura confirmed that they are not Echo Fighters, most likely due to the negative response after Lucas was introduced as  Super Smash Bros Wii U's first DLC character.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches this December 7th for Nintendo Switch. Also confirmed was Piranha Plant, Ken from Street Fighter and Incineroar from Pokemon.
