Talent exodus at Infinity Ward continues

The exodus of talent at Infinity Ward continued this week, as two more lead staffers left the developer.

 

Lead designer Todd Alderman and lead software engineer Francesco Gigliotti both have their LinkedIn profiles claiming they've left the famed Call of Duty developer. Both having been at the studio since 2002, Alderman was reportedly responsible for designing the multiplayer portions of their games.

 

Alderman and Gigliotti aren't the first to leave the company in recent months. Just one month ago, Infinity Ward president Jason West and CEO and co-founder Vince Zampella were fired for what was reported as "insubordination."

 

It's unclear what will happen to the Call of Duty and Modern Warfare brands without the heads of development employed there, or if quality of future titles will suffer as a result.
