Two New Fighters Coming to Killer Instinct Season 2

Two new fighters in the Killer Instinct Season 2 roster have been revealed. The first being The Herald of Gargos, better known as Omen, and the second is Golem. Creative director of Microsoft Studios, Adam Isgreen, made the announcement over twitter today.

While no information about when Golem will join the Killer Instinct family Omen is set to release on Friday for those who own the Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition and February 5 for the Combo Breaker Edition. 

Developed by Double Helix Games, Iron Galaxy, Rare and Microsoft Studios Killer Instinct launched as a free-to-play launch title for the Xbox One. Since its release the game has received positive reviews for its mechanics and engine but criticized for lack of free content. While gamers are limited to one character at a time, which switches over time, more characters, stages, costumes and other options are available for purchase, with content being released in “Seasons”. Season 1 consist of Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Black Orchid, Spinal, Fulgore and Shadow Jago. Season 2, which is currently being released over time, consist of T.J. Combo, Maya, Kan-Ra, Raptor, Omen, Cinder and Golem.
