Ubisoft Announces Far Cry 5 Short Film

Far Cry 5 releases later this month and Ubisoft is planning to keep fans enticed by providing a short film. This will provide more context into the game's main antagonist, Father Joseph Seed, and his religious cult Eden's Gate.

The film focuses on 3 vloggers who have been lured into the game's main town of Hope County after hearing rumors of the cult. The trio follows leads about missing locals and will encounter the dangerous cult.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that Far Cry 5 will include a season pass. Those who invest in the season pass or purchase the Gold Edition will gain access to Far Cry 3 Classic Edition 4 weeks before the game goes public.

Far Cry 5 isn't the only game to get a short before its release. Far Cry 3 had a series of video releases before its launch featuring Vaas.

Far Cry 5 will release on March 27th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
