Xenosaga HD Collection Rejected Due to Lack of Profitability
Xenosaga HD Collection pitched but rejected

Xenosaga is somewhat of an obscured game. It has a fanbase and those same fans have been asking for a remastered rerelease of all 3 core games and apparently it was considered. With former Tekken producer, Katsuhiro Harada answering the fans about a possible release. Which was rejected due to "profitable market analysis".

This actually progressed to the remaster's plan, but failed in a profitable market analysis.

Sorry guys, This plan will be difficult to resurface... https://t.co/0CRJJDPl5Z
This may not be the answer fans were hoping for but its better than false hope.
While the first game in the 3 part series sold well the second game did not perform well. Critics stated the cutscenes, which were already long in the first game, were much longer here. Those without any knowledge of the series being completely lost when playing the second game since it offered no recap and many fans were annoyed about the redesigned characters that were drastically different from the first game. The third and final game would perform better but the entire series was a commercial failure. With Monolith Soft's original staff now working for Nintendo while Bandai Namco holds the rights for Xenosaga.
If you want to play this series is probably best you look for original copies of the game on PS2. There's a mobile game but you can skip that.
