Xur Gets Updated for The Taken King

The engima known as Xur: Agent of the Nine is coming to Destiny tomorrow for the first time since The Taken King was released.

Like his previous function Xur will have specific weapons and exotic Engrams on sale, but Bungie has confirmed that changes have been made to reduce duplication and increase the drive toward exotics from quests and other activities.

Xur will also have a new item called “Three of Coins”. This will increase the chance of bosses dropping a yellowish ornage Engram that signals a new exotic for your inventory. The more you have, the better chance you’ll have to getting one.

Lastly Xur will have one Legacy Engram to choose every week. These will contain Year One Exotics for players wanting to complete their collection.
