Battlefield 6 has a plethora of weapons to choose from, each with its own niche. This guide will cover the current meta weapons that are worth picking a month into the launch.
KV9
This gun has an exceptionally fast fire rate and an almost borderline stupidly good time-to-kill of around 167ms.

It does about 25 damage per shot, somewhat similar to the MP5, but its only drawback is its 17-round magazine, which makes it a difficult pick when you know that you’re going to be in a skirmish with more than one person.
SCW10
This weapon has a relatively slower fire rate compared to the KV9, but it still has a high fire rate of 800 RPM and does more damage of 33.5 damage per shot, which makes it a three-shot kill.

Its time-to-kill is even more absurd at around 150ms, and it’s more consistent at range.
But it’s still the same fate as the KV9 of having a small magazine.
B36A4
This weapon is a great pick because of how versatile it is.
Battlefield 6 currently has an issue with bloom, by regardless of that, this gun still remains really balanced.

It does the same damage as the scar, but its rate of fire at 720 makes it a better going to close range whilst still having the accuracy at distance.
It has a 40-round magazine and possesses low recoil, making it pretty reliable at almost every map.
MP7
The MP7 can be hit or mass as it does require a high skill to possess; it’s a fast-firing SMG that will reward good aim and movement.

It has a fire rate of 947 with a 30 to 49 magazine and a solid recoil.
Although it has a higher time to kill, it makes up for it it’s mobility and hip fire accuracy, making get a great pick in fights and maps where you’ll need to be proactive in your movement.
NVO-228E & M417
These two carbines perform similarly, offering you amazing range and decent recoil. With a good magazine capacity.

The NVO-228E has a slightly slow fire rate, but it still has a great time to kill, whereas the M417 will give you better hipfire accuracy.
These two weapons tend to bridge the gap between SMGs and AR’s, giving you good recoil control with good handling ability.
M4A1
The M4A1 is currently the best and most versatile weapon in the current Battlefield 6 meta.
It is an excellent time to kill with an assault rifle of 200 ms, and has superior handling and excellent range, paired with a great magazine size.

It’s a Swiss army knife that performs well in various ranges, and it works for every single map.
Each of the weapons on the list is catered towards a different situation. If it’s for controlling objectives or clutching in the final moments, these current meta weapons should be worth considering.
