Cozy Caravan Guide | How to Unlock Cooking & Get New Recipes

Cooking is a big component of how you move forward in Cozy Caravan. You can cook meals and baked products while you travel with your caravan. Then, you can sell them at the market to get hearts that will help you get your next Guild Token. Some recipes become available on their own when you reach cooking stations or gather ingredients for the first time. Others need you to do missions or talk to certain NPCs. 

This guide shows you how to unlock all the recipes, where to find all the ingredients you need, and how to use them. The game is still in Early Access, so there may be more recipes added later. 

All the Recipes in Cozy Caravan 

Here is a full list of all the recipes that are accessible right now. There are other ways to unlock each recipe, such as via completing missions, getting presents, upgrading, or doing something for the first time. To make some things, you'll also need the right caravan upgrades. 

To make Apple Cake, you need Cake Mix and Apple Sliced, as well as an Oven With Stovetop Upgrade. Mr. Gulligan gives you this dish as a thank-you gift for bringing Flossy back. 

To make Apple Chopped, you need one apple and a cooking table. When you pick up your first apple, it unlocks itself. 

You need an oven to make Apple Pie, which uses Apple Chopped and Flat Pastry (Raw). You may open it by playing hopscotch with Rosie a lot. 

You need a mortar and pestle and capsicum to make bee repellent. You can get this recipe by chatting to Jill during the Bee Fence Repair Quest. 

You may make butter from cream using a cooking table. The first time you skip stones with Bernie, you can open it. 

You need eggs, flour, milk, and sugar to make cake mix at a cooking table. You may unlock it by gifting Jean Pierre a carrot at Hershey's Homestead. 

You need an oven to make Candied Apple, which involves apples and sugar. You can open it by donating sugarcane to Carmel Sundae at Toffee Top Orchards. 

You need an oven, cake mix, and chopped carrots to make carrot cake. You can open it by offering Jean Pierre a carrot at Hershey's Homestead. 

You can make Carrot Chopped by chopping up a carrot at a Cooking Table. You can unlock it by getting your first carrot. 

You need Capsicum and a Cooking Table to make Chopped Capsicum. It unlocks after you get your first capsicum. 

You can make Chopped Onion at a Cooking Table, and it unlocks after you get your first onion. 

You need a potato and a cooking table to make Chopped Potato. You can only get it when you collect your first potato. 

You can make Chopped Tomato at a Cooking Table by cutting up a tomato. It unlocks after you get your first tomato. 

You can make cream from milk at a cooking table, and you can get it the first time you skip stones with Bernie. 

You need flour, sugar, and butter to make flat pastry (raw), which you do at a cooking table. You may open it by playing hopscotch with Rosie a lot of times. 

You can make flour from wheat with a mortar and pestle. You can open it by offering Jean Pierre a carrot at Hershey's Homestead. 

You need an oven with a stovetop upgrade to make Grandma Dolly's Stew. You also need chopped tomato, sugarcane, herb, and chopped potato. You can open it by finishing the quest for Ellie's Stew Recipe. 

To make Honey Cake, you need Cake Mix, Honey, and an Oven. Mr. Gulligan gives it to you as a gift once you bring Flossy back. 

You can make Lettuce Chopped by chopping up lettuce at a Cooking Table. You can only use it when you collect your first lettuce. 

To make mashed potatoes, you need chopped potatoes and butter, and an oven with a stovetop upgrade. The first time you skip stones with Bernie, you open it. 

Chopped onion and chopped potato are used in Onion and Potato Soup, which needs an oven with a stovetop upgrade. An NPC gives this recipe, but we don't know where it came from. 

To make popcorn, you need corn, butter, and an oven with a stovetop upgrade. You can open it the first time you play hopscotch with Rosie. 

Chopped Potato and Herb are used in Roast Potatoes, which needs an oven. You can open it once you bring bees back to Bogart for the first time. 

To make salad, you need to chop up carrots, tomatoes, and lettuce. You can do this at a cooking table. To unlock it, you have to buy the Cooking Table Upgrade. 

Using a mortar and pestle, you may make sugar from sugar cane. When you pick sugar cane for the first time, you can open it. 

You need two chopped tomatoes and an oven with a stovetop upgrade to make tomato soup. An NPC gives it to you, but no one knows where it came from.
