The final update, Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph, introduces a massive gameplay overhaul for the void titan super ability known as Ward of Dawn. Previously, activating this shield placed a stationary protective bubble on the ground that could not be adjusted.

Bubble Mechanics

With the new ability tuning, you can now physically pick up your active defensive bubble and relocate it up to two separate times before the super energy drains completely. This mechanical change allows you to shift your defensive position dynamically as a battle progresses in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC.

Melee Power Upgrade

Besides the new mobility options, the bubble provides a major offensive advantage to anyone within its radius. While you and/or your fireteam are inside the active shield, your character will receive a significant boost to damage received from melee attacks.

This change makes it an incredibly effective tool for holding close-range positions or eliminating aggressive enemies that attempt to enter your defensive area in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC.
