The pictures rotate between different categories like fish swimming up, owls, snakes, and dragons. To speed up the process, you can shoot two different circles back-to-back to bypass the brief rotation delay on a single node in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC.

Be careful with your movement while working on the grid. A stone plate sits right in the middle of the room on the floor, which acts as the confirmation trigger.
