Weapon of Sorrow in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC carries a deep history rooted in dark Hive magic. The collection includes a small, distinct group of weapons that you can track through your menu screens.

If you open your collections tab, look under kinetic weapons to locate items like the Osteo Striga, Touch of Malice, Necrochasm, and Thorn.

If you already earned these items during earlier seasons, you do not need to hunt them down again. You can simply open your exotic collections menu and buy them directly back into your inventory in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC.

Acquiring Thorn Quickly

If you do not own any of these dark firearms, the fastest method to get one is to fly into the Tower courtyard landing zone. Head over to the right side of the plaza where the vault terminals sit, and locate the gold pedestal known as the Exotic Archive.

Access the terminal and open the section labeled Light and Dark Saga Exotics. Flip over to the third page of this menu to purchase Thorn directly in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC.

The transaction requires two specific resources, which are one Exotic Cipher and 125,000 Glimmer. If you run out of ciphers, you can commonly source them by leveling up your season pass or by tracking down the weekly vendor Xur.

Currently, this hand cannon is the only dark hive weapon available for direct purchase from the archive system.
