In this guide, you’ll learn precisely how to reach the power core in the Defend Hebeth mission of Doom: The Dark Ages. You begin by running through a war-torn area where friendly and enemy forces clash. 

Stay alert for incoming hostiles—you’ll need to stomp on your opponents and clear a path forward. Along the way, you’ll encounter titans; they’re tough, but you can handle them. Hit each with a power punch, and they’ll go down quickly.

Dealing with Titans

As you advance, more titans will appear. Keep your support team’s weapons ready. The giant will charge at you. You should avoid its attack and then hit back with another power punch. Please do it again and again until the area is clean. You will stay ahead of the threat because you are always angry.

Breaching the Wall

Shortly after dispatching those titans, you’ll come across a fortified barrier. Approach the wall and deliver a mighty power punch to break through. On the other side, you’ll spot one of your allies celebrating a successful takedown—keep moving past them and continue toward the city center.

Utilizing Support Weaponry

Once inside the city ruins, your support team will deploy heavier firepower. Take advantage of whatever caliber rounds they provide—they’re overkill, but that’s precisely what you need. Make quick work of any remaining foes and push onward through the crumbling streets.

Reaching the Power Core

Eventually, you’ll encounter a warning: the barrier’s relay is overloading and requires everyone to pull back. In that moment, the power core will come into view. There’s no hidden switch or extra puzzle—walk up to the core and press “Use” to grab it. 

With the power core in hand, you’ll be ready to save the city from total collapse. A strip mine nearby will be locked for you afterward, ensuring you have the means to secure your objective.
