The Erdrick’s Equipment Set is known to be the legendary gear once used by the Hero of Dragon Quest 3. It consists of the Sword, Shield, Armour, Helm, and Mark of Erdrick.

Erdrick’s Sword

You can locate the Sword of Erdrick in Basement 1 of Dragonlord’s Castle. Begin by interacting with the back of the large throne on the main floor to reveal a hidden path.

From there, descend to Basement 5, navigate around the area, and climb back up to Basement 2. Continue following the route until you reach a spiral staircase that leads to a room containing the sword.

Erdrick’s Shield

The Shield of Erdrick can be found on the outer level of Weeping Isle. Progress through the dungeon by using the series of stairways until you reach the chest containing the shield.

It is recommended to use Holy Protection while exploring this area to avoid random monster encounters and move safely through the dungeon in Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake.

Erdrick’s Armour

To acquire the Armour of Erdrick, travel to Damdara and defeat the Knight Aberant. After the battle, the armour will appear as a Sparkly Spot at the location where the boss was defeated.

You can challenge the Knight Aberant as soon as Damdara becomes accessible, but it is advisable to attempt the fight once you reach at least Level 33 to increase your chances of success.

Erdrick’s Helm

The Helm of Erdrick is obtained through the Dream-Whisperer Fairy found inside the Shrine of Rain. Speak with her, and she will summon a portal that transports you to the Western Isle. There, you can see the helm resting on top of a grave in Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake.

Mark of Erdrick

The Mark of Erdrick is obtained after defeating Armageddon in the Shrine of the Spirit, located at the southern end of the world map. Upon victory, you will receive an item named Sacred Amulet, and a cutscene will follow, revealing its true identity as the Mark of Erdrick.
