In Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, you will find several puzzles that involve moving dolls. These can be tricky, but you just need to follow the right steps to move forward.

Dealing with the Doll Room

When you enter the Doll Room, go to the doll on the right side. You have to put the Glass Eyes inside it to turn on the machine. The goal is to get the dolls to look at each other.

There are two buttons. The Left Button moves the Left Doll three spots left and the Right Doll one and a half spots left. The Right Button moves Both Dolls one and a half spots to the right. To solve it, hit the Right Button twice and then hit the Left Button four times.

Following the Photo

During Chapter 4, you need to visit the Hina Doll Room. Look at the Hina Doll Room Photo and move the dolls until they match that picture.

Later in Chapter 6, you will see the Twin Mechanical Dolls again. To pass this part quickly, press the Left Button four times and the Right Button twice in FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE.

The Tatami Wing Puzzle

In Chapter 7, walk to the Tatami Wing. Look for the Red-Stained Doll sitting above a spot where you can hide. Take the doll. Soon, the Woman In White will appear in the west part of the Tatami Wing.

If she starts following you, go hide and stay quiet until she is gone. Once it is safe, go to the door. Mio will set the doll down. To make these dolls face each other, press the Left Button three times and the Right Button three times.
