The Axe of Charon focuses on turning your Omega Special into a powerful, map-wide detonation tool. By combining the Aspect of Charon with specific Boons from Apollo, Aphrodite, and Poseidon, you can create a loop that sustains Mana while maximising damage output.

This setup is based on how well these parts work together, allowing you to kill enemies quickly and maintain pressure throughout every fight in Hades II.

Getting the Aspect of Charon

Pick the Aspect of Charon for your Axe. When you use this Aspect, your Omega Specials detonate your cast, making every spell you cast a powerful trigger. This is the foundation of your entire build.

Setting Up Mana

Equip Apollo’s Keepsake at the start of your run. Prioritise getting the Lucid Gain Boon, which restores Mana when you stand within your cast after it completes. Cast directly on your own position, then activate your Omega Special to detonate it immediately in Hades II.

Through Lucid Gain, this interaction will quickly restore your Mana, so you can keep casting without running out of resources. You can spam Omega Specials all over the battlefield by doing this over and over again.

Increasing damage

Get Aphrodite's Heartbreak Flourish to improve your Omega Special. This Boon significantly increases the damage of your Special attack, providing a significant boost to each detonation. Next, collect Boons from Poseidon that meet the requirements for the Aphrodite plus Poseidon duo Boon in Hades II.

This particular duo, Boon, alters Aphrodite’s effects so that all enemies are treated as nearby, extending the damage increase of Heartbreak Flourish across the entire field. As a result, your Omega Specials will benefit from the amplified damage wherever enemies appear in Hades II.
