To get the Legendary Boons in Hades II, you have to prove your dedication to the gods by collecting three specific Boons from their arsenal. You'll unlock the Legendary Boons ranked from S to D.

Hephaestus - Fine Tuning
Before getting the Fine Tuning Boon, you’ll need to complete three prerequisites in Hades II.
Your initial requirement is to get one of Hephaestus's central Boons: an increase in his Attack, Special, or Sprint.
When these appear at lower rarities, you should prioritise the Sprint option or consider the less commonly utilised Attack variant in Hades II.
If you're running a defensive build without strict time constraints, you can justify selecting the Boon that enhances your primary damage source.
The second requirement consists of three options: Heavy Metal, Trusty Shield, or Mint Condition. Heavy Metal provides anti-knockback protection along with heavy armour, and thus it is beneficial for every run.

Trusty Shield is useful at times, but its initial cost typically comes with limiting restrictions. Mint Condition is beset with the same flaws as Poseidon's Hydraulic Might, but occasionally it yields superior performance in Hades II.
Your third requirement offers Grand Caldera, Molten Touch, or Furnace Blast. When you're heavily investing in Blast effects, Grand Caldera becomes essential.
Molten Touch serves as an automatic pickup when you lack alternative armour-shredding methods, sharing similar utility with Heavy Metal in Hades II.
Furnace Blast significantly improves Blast performance with slower cooldowns, though rapid cooldowns render it redundant. While not as critical as Grand Caldera, it provides notable benefits, especially in defensive playstyles.

The Fundamental Limitation
Fine Tuning suffers from a significant weakness: it provides virtually no benefit when your weapon Aspects aren't fully upgraded.
If you are a new player, the Boons will only receive a Level 2 Aspect, which typically delivers little to no impact in Hades II.
