Unlocking Weapon Aspects in Hades 2 requires progressing through several steps that involve crafting, exploration, and Spellcasting in Hades II.

Before you gain access to the Aspects themselves, you must first create all available weapons, use each one in combat, and then perform a special Incantation provided by Headmistress Hecate. By following this process, you will be able to craft and wield the Aspects tied to your weapons.

Craft And Use All Five Weapons

The first step is to craft all five Nocturnal Arms available in the game. Simply forging them is not enough; you must also take each weapon on a run at least once. Crafting these weapons requires gathering resources from both the Underworld and the surface, which ensures that you explore a wide range of areas during your progress in Hades II.

Speak To Headmistress Hecate

After you have crafted and used all five Nocturnal Arms, you need to find Headmistress Hecate to get the Aspects of Night and Darkness Incantation. The moment and place where she grants this Incantation can differ.

In some cases, she will give you the recipe when you speak to her in the Crossroads, while in other instances, you may have to face her in battle in Erebus before she shares it with you. The Aspects of Night and Darkness Incantation is essential, as it officially unlocks the feature that allows you to craft and use Weapon Aspects in Hades II.

Gather Ingredients For The Incantation

Once you receive the recipe from Hecate, you will need to collect the necessary components to perform the Spell. To cast the Aspects of Night and Darkness Incantation, you require five units of Bronze and one Nightshade in Hades II.

Collecting Nightshade

Getting Nightshade is relatively simple compared to other resources. Its seeds are scattered throughout soil patches found in Erebus. To gather them, you must equip the Silver Spade before beginning your run, as this tool is required to collect the seeds during exploration.

Collecting Bronze

Getting Bronze is more challenging since it is found only on the surface. The path to the surface, particularly the entrance to Olympus, remains locked at the start of the game. To open it, you must first cast two additional Incantations in Hades II.

The Permeation of Witching Wards Incantation unlocks the gate leading to the surface, while the Unravelling a Fateful Bond Incantation allows you to breathe freely in the air of Olympus, enabling unhindered exploration.

Once you have cast both Spells, complete a run through Olympus with the Crescent Pick equipped. During your journey, collect Bronze from the abandoned sets of armour scattered across the surface in Hades II.

Craft The Incantation

After collecting both Bronze and Nightshade, return to the Crossroads once your run ends. Use these materials to cast the Aspects of Night and Darkness Incantation. This step unlocks the ability to craft and equip Weapon Aspects, giving you access to new capabilities and enhancements for your weapons in Hades II.
