Life Is Strange: Reunion Guide | How to Unlock all Endings

How the fire, the survivors, and the final photo choice change the ending.

There are two layers of choices that affect the ending of Life Is Strange: Reunion. The first layer is the fire on campus, which checks to see who lived and who died. The second layer is the last picture choice, which changes the ending for Max and Chloe after the credits. Because of that structure, the ending isn't just about one last button press; it's also about how well the story was told all the way to the end.

The outcome of Campus on Fire

If the fire sequence doesn't go well, the ending shows that it didn't go well. The tone gets much darker, and the last scenes are more about regret than relief. Important survivors can be lost. Most players see this version if they miss a small interaction during the evacuation or don't line up the key story choices earlier in the run.

Save Everyone's Outcome

The best ending to the main story is to save as many people as you can during the fire. This doesn't completely lock the ending, but it does change how everything that comes after it feels. The memorial scenes hit differently, the last montage feels lighter, and the story treats the route as the best way to end things before the choice after the credits.

What the Last Photo Changes

The photo is the last big fork. One way has Max turn down another jump and deal with what happened. The other path pushes her back toward time travel, which gives her a different emotional reward. There is also a version where Chloe burns the picture. This ending is often seen as the best because it wraps up the game's biggest mystery.

It's best to save before making a choice and then replay the scene from there to see all the versions.
