Vial Pouches are some of the most useful upgrades in Mina the Hollower because they increase how many Plasma Vials you can carry. More healing means longer trips through dangerous regions, fewer forced returns to the Underlab, and more room for mistakes during bosses. This guide covers the main Vial Pouch route, including the purchasable pouch in Ossex and the hidden upgrades found across Tenebrous Isle.

Start With The Ossex Pouch

The easiest Vial Pouch is bought at The Emporium in Ossex. Visit the rose-marked shop near the Kears Institute and purchase the first pouch when you have enough Bones. The price rises after purchases, so it is best to treat this as the simple starter upgrade before hunting the more hidden pouches.

Mourner’s Mile And Backwaters Pouches

The next early upgrade is in Mourner’s Mile, inside the Spike Vault. In the northern graveyard, look for the suspicious headstone route, break through the hidden entry, and follow the burrow path to the chest. This is easy to miss because the correct route is not the obvious front-facing approach.

Another pouch is tied to Backwaters and Lantern Cave. Prepare a Kear and make sure you can use the nearby ladder route. Once you reach Pinky’s Parlor, reposition the ladder, reach the spark door, and move through the dark cave carefully. Stay near light whenever possible, then follow the path to the chest containing the pouch.

Kindlewood, Sandfalls, And Late Pouches

The Kindlewood pouch is found through the Rail Tunnel. Start from Farm Crossing, bring two Kears, break into the tunnel route, and use the pipe paths to reach the chest. The tunnel relies on dark-room navigation and statue fireballs, so move slowly instead of rushing through the wrong pipe.

Kindlewood, Sandfalls, And Late Pouches

For the Sandfalls pouch, head to Sifted Sands and move toward the purple sand section. Use the moving platforms, burrow into the cave route, and open the chest with a Kear. The remaining pouch upgrades can be handled through the Ossex shop route once you have enough Bones. Collecting all of them gives Mina a much stronger healing stock for the later Generator regions.
