GTA 6 Has More Major Reveals Planned for November as Rockstar Prepares for Launch With PS5 Pro Details and New Promotions

It looks like Rockstar Games has a lot in store for November, including more soundtrack reveals, exclusive merchandise, a possible live-action trailer, and other promotional activities leading up to the much-anticipated release.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally entering its launch month, and with November officially here, players are getting closer to seeing Rockstar Games’ next big release. The game is due out on November 19, so there are only a few weeks until you can finally venture into Vise City. Physical copies are also expected to arrive at retailers ahead of launch, so players have everything in place for release night, with the preload expected to start on November 12.

Rockstar, however, still has a few announcements and promotional events planned before the game actually launches. These upcoming reveals could give players a better understanding of what to expect while building anticipation for the game's highly anticipated release.

There’s already a lot of information out there about GTA 6, but there are still several important details yet to be disclosed.

Rockstar has previously confirmed that more announcements are coming, and some of them could arrive throughout November. These include additional details about the game's radio stations, soundtrack, original score, merchandise, and PS5 Pro enhancements. There is also a possibility of another promotional trailer, particularly with Rockstar reportedly filming several live-action sequences around Miami.

One of the first things you can expect is more information about GTA 6's music. Ben from VideoTech recently highlighted that Rockstar still has several announcements planned despite revealing additional musical details over the past week. The developer has already confirmed that it will announce more radio stations and songs from the official GTA 6 album before launch.

Rockstar has not yet revealed every radio station that will be available when you begin exploring Vice City. The company also has additional songs and artists to introduce, meaning there should be more announcements surrounding the soundtrack. These reveals may not be as big as gameplay demos or story details, but they are still an important part of the overall GTA experience.

Not only is the soundtrack still in progress, but Rockstar also has more information to share about the game’s original score. The developer has teased a dynamic scoring system previously, hinting at the importance of music in how you experience different situations throughout the game. But the company has not yet given any detailed description of the way this system works. Over the next few weeks, we expect to see a more detailed breakdown, which may give players a better idea of how the original score responds to gameplay. This could also make different missions and encounters feel more immersive by adapting the music to what is happening on screen.

Furthermore, note that the official album and original score are expected to be announced separately.

This means Rockstar has multiple musical reveals planned rather than a single announcement covering everything. Further singles from different artists are expected to be revealed alongside the radio station information. There may be some updates in November for those interested in the game's soundtrack, with a few weeks left until launch.

GTA 6 merch is another area where you can expect new announcements. During its previous merchandise announcement, Rockstar specifically mentioned through an official Newswire post that players should look out for additional merchandise drops coming soon. However, nothing substantial has been revealed since then, suggesting that another collection could arrive before the game launches.

Rockstar has also been expanding its real-world marketing activities, particularly around Miami. Several promotional locations reportedly have exclusive merchandise available, meaning visitors could find items that are not necessarily part of the regular online collection. If you happen to be in the area, these locations are worth keeping an eye on as the launch approaches.

The upcoming collection could include more T-shirts, hats, keychains, and other items connected to the game. Rockstar has already demonstrated its interest in building a wider promotional campaign around GTA 6, and additional merchandise would fit naturally into those plans. These releases also coincide with upcoming soundtrack announcements, so November could be a particularly busy month for the game’s marketing campaign.

But one of the most important announcements yet to be made is regarding the PS5 Pro enhancements for the game. Although GTA 6's store page already identifies the game as PS5 Pro enhanced, Rockstar and Sony have not explained exactly what improvements players can expect. Sony's marketing has also suggested that the game will perform better on its more powerful console.

This is especially important if you’re still on the fence about what platform to buy GTA 6 on. Your choice may come down to which console versions you have access to and whether the PS5 Pro is a significant upgrade over the standard PlayStation 5. Players who buy the game on Xbox will want to know how it compares to the PlayStation versions.

Rockstar will reveal more details about the PS5 Pro version in the next three weeks.

We could see the announcement as soon as next week, but it could also be scheduled for a later date, closer to the preload period or the actual release of the game. Considering how important performance details are for players when they are planning their purchases, this is arguably one of the most important announcements still missing.

Another possibility is that more trailers and promotional footage will be released. Rockstar has already dropped what seems to be the launch trailer for the game about a month before its release date. This makes it difficult to know if another old-fashioned trailer is planned before Nov. 19. Rockstar could also drop one of its signature promotional trailers with voice-over narration, perhaps offering a more profound look at the game’s world and characters. Another option could be a trailer that presents the story and introduces more characters or provides more information about Jason and Lucia.

Players have seen the two protagonists before in previous promotional material, but another trailer could give a closer look at their relationship and the events surrounding their criminal activities. Alternatively, the previously released launch trailer could be Rockstar's final major gameplay reveal before launch.

Interestingly, there is another promotional activity that could bring new footage much sooner. Rockstar appears to be working alongside the Miami Heat on an NBA promotional event called Night in Vice City. Recent sightings around Miami have shown several GTA 6-inspired vehicles driving through the streets while production crews film promotional footage.

It looks like some kind of live-action promotional trailer that will tie in the upcoming NBA event with GTA 6 marketing from the clips.

The Miami Heat collaboration will probably push basketball-related activities, but it also gives Rockstar another opportunity to infuse the game's vibe into the real world. We've seen multiple GTA 6 cars on the streets of the city, and they've already had modifications and body kits to match the cars in the game. These sightings have gradually revealed more about the scale of the promotional production.

Some of the latest footage is particularly striking because it shows a speedboat moving around a marina while police boats pursue it. There is also a helicopter flying overhead, which makes the sequence look very much like a real GTA 6 mission. There seem to be some police cars and planes in the production along with the main part of the scene, which is the chase on the speedboat.

Another camera angle provides an even better look at the sequence. Although the footage has been sped up, you can clearly see the speedboat being pursued across the water while helicopters follow closely behind. One large police helicopter hovers above the action, while another military-style aircraft flies much closer to the boat.

However, we still don’t know how much of the footage will make it into the final promotional material.

Still, the production shows that Rockstar is putting significant effort into linking its real-world marketing activities with the game’s presentation. It will be interesting to see how the speedboat scene fits into the night in the Vice City event and if the final trailer will directly pull from GTA 6 elements.

With the release date approaching, Rockstar already has several confirmed announcements and marketing activities lined up for November. From additional radio stations and soundtrack details to merchandise releases and PS5 Pro performance information, there is still plenty for the company to reveal. The possible Miami Heat collaboration could also introduce another major promotional trailer before launch.

New collaborations and promotional activities have emerged regularly from the company’s marketing campaign, which has continued to throw up unexpected developments. There have also been reports of a possible Nike shoe collaboration with Rockstar, which could receive an announcement closer to launch.

With GTA 6 expected to become one of the biggest entertainment releases of the year, the company appears determined to make its final weeks of promotion count. You can expect more information to surface as November progresses, with the remaining announcements potentially arriving right up until launch day.
