Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Guide | How to Find Varoom and Evolve into Revavroom
Catch Varoom early on the main road in East Province (Area Three), then evolve it at Level 40.
Game Guide by Monarch on Feb 28, 2026
Varoom is a solid early pickup if you want a unique Steel-type that turns into a stronger evolution later. It is also easy to find once you go to the correct province. You do not need any special weather, time, or item to make it spawn. You just need to travel on the right route and keep your eyes on the path.a
Where To Find Varoom Early
The earliest place to find Varoom is in East Province (Area Three). Head to the main path in this area and stay on the road while you move forward. Varoom can appear right beside the path, so it is possible to spot one quickly as you travel. Keep scanning ahead while riding, because it can be sitting close enough that you run into it without even trying.

How To Catch Varoom
Once you see Varoom on or near the road, start the encounter and catch it. Since this spawn is on a main route, you can also circle the path and recheck the same stretch if you do not see one immediately. The key is staying on the road, because it appears earliest there.

How To Evolve Varoom Into Revavroom
Varoom evolves into Revavroom at Level 40. There are no extra steps. You can evolve it by training normally through battles, or you can speed it up by using Exp. Candies, if you already have them. Once Varoom reaches Level 40, the evolution triggers automatically.

Fast Leveling Tip For A Quick Evolution
If you want Revavroom sooner, keep Varoom in your party while clearing nearby trainers and wild fights, then top it off with Exp. Candies when you get close. This saves time and gets you the evolution right away once you reach Level 40.
