This guide explains how to find the item needed to open the door with the indent and enter the Parlor in Resident Evil Requiem. You will need to move through several dangerous rooms to reach your goal.

Navigating the Kitchen and Dining Room

Start in the Kitchen. A chef is working here, and you need to move past him without being caught.

If you are fast, you can grab the item and leave in one go. If he starts to turn or stop chopping, let go of the object you are moving and crouch to hide. Once he goes to the sink, you can move again.

Next, enter the Dining Room. You will encounter a zombie here. You can throw a Glass Bottle to distract it or use a single gunshot to stun it in Resident Evil Requiem.

While in the Dining Room, look for a Handgun and a Knife to help you defend yourself. You can also find Handgun Ammo and a Green Herb nearby if you search the containers.

Reaching the Chairman's Office

Go up the stairs to reach the second floor. Check the map on the wall to unlock the layout of the building. Walk through the Bar and Lounge. It is safest to crouch here to avoid making noise.

Keep going until you get to the Chairman's Office. In this room, look for a small item. You have to look at this item in your inventory. Rotate it until you find a way to interact with it. You will find the key piece you need when you open the item .for the door.

Opening the Parlor Door

After you have the item, grab any extra Handgun Ammo in the office. Unlock the side door to create a shortcut back to the Central Hall. This area is safer to run through.

Go back down to the first floor of the Central Hall. Go to the left side, where the door with the indent is. If you see any enemies nearby, don't pay attention to them and go straight to the door. Unlock it with the item you found in the office.
