Resident Evil Requiem Guide | How to Find Joint Plugs

Here’s a guide on how to find the Joint Plugs in Resident Evil Requiem.

To move forward in Resident Evil Requiem as Grace, you need to find three Joint Plugs in the basement. On this road, you have to stay away from a Boss that keeps coming back, keep track of your resources, and solve a few mechanical puzzles.

The First Joint Plug and the Wrench

You will find the first Joint Plug in the Holding Cells. This is part of the normal path. Once you pick it up, the Boss will appear. Instead of fighting, run toward them and quickly turn left to slip past. Head back toward the elevator area.

Continue to the Boiler Room via the Power Distributor. You must enter from the correct side to avoid electrified water. Inside, pick up the Square Socket Wrench, an Empty Bottle, and Infected Blood.

The Boss will try to block your exit. Lure them away and run around them to escape. Use your new wrench on the mechanism in the Collection Pool to reveal new paths.

The Second Joint Plug and the Forklift

Head toward the Furnace area. You will encounter enemies on the ground; some are faking death, so be careful. In the area past the Power Distributor, you will find the second Joint Plug.

To move forward, you need the Forklift Key in Resident Evil Requiem.. You can find it near the Processing area. Use the key on the Forklift to lift obstacles.

While you are there, grab the Hip Pouch to increase your inventory space and collect any nearby Ammo. You will need to reuse the Forklift Key later, so keep it in your bag.

The Third Joint Plug and Processing

The third Joint Plug is located in Processing, but you cannot simply grab it and leave. First, put your two current plugs into the distributor in the Furnace to power the doors. This leads you to the Inspection room.

In Inspection, pull the lever to make the moving bags go in reverse. This creates an opening for you to reach the other side. Follow the path to the far side of Processing. Use the handle here to drain the area.

Jump down into the pit in Resident Evil Requiem. You must defend yourself while the machinery runs.

Use fully charged Handgun shots to stun enemies so the grinders can finish them. Once the process is complete, a ladder will rise. You can now grab the third Joint Plug and exit through the fan blades by crouching.

Opening the Final Door

Now that you have everything you need, go back to the Furnace and Inspection areas and get the plugs you used for temporary power. Now that you have all three Joint Plugs, go back to the Holding Cells. To get to the next step, put all three plugs into the last console.
