The Pantry is a side room that many players miss because it sits off the main path. You can access it early or return later, depending on which character you are using. Opening this door gives you access to extra supplies and a helpful combat upgrade.

Choosing Your Approach

A specific enemy guards the area near the Kitchen. He roams the nearby halls and eventually moves to a different spot as the story moves forward. You can deal with him while playing as Grace or wait until you take control of Leon.

If you wait for Leon, his Shotgun can take the enemy down with about four headshots. If you want to get inside earlier as Grace, you can use a Hemolytic item. You can craft these using Blood and Scrap.

You will learn this recipe and find the necessary materials once you reach the East Wing in Resident Evil Requiem.. You can also try using your Handgun, though it will take many more shots to the head to finish the job.

Entering the Pantry

Once the enemy is defeated, he will drop the Pantry Key. Pick up the key and use it to unlock the door.

Some containers inside are locked and can only be opened later when you are playing as Leon. However, there is plenty of loot available for Grace right away.

Search the room to find Handgun Ammo and Infected Blood to refill your supplies. You can also find Scrap on the ground to use for future crafting.

Collecting the Stealth Upgrade

One of the most important items in this room is the Steak Takeout Charm in Resident Evil Requiem. Attaching this charm to your Knife fortifies the blade, extending its lifespan before it becomes unusable.

Also, tucked away in the corner, you'll find some 12.7x55mm Ammo. This particular ammunition seems designed for the powerful weapon Leon hands to Grace at the beginning of her quest. Make sure to collect everything you can carry before returning to the main areas.
