Restarting the power units in Resident Evil Requiem is a key step to reaching the surface. Your main goal is to activate the distribution units spread across the area while avoiding Marie. There is a specific order to do this that keeps you safe and saves time.

Getting the Crank Lever

Start at the center of the map near the elevator and head south immediately. If you stay close to the corners, you can move past enemies without taking any hits. Enter the Control Room and pick up the Crank Lever.

You can try to sprint around Marie to avoid using ammo. Use the Crank Lever on the mechanism in the room and turn it quickly. This will burn her and give you a chance to run back toward the center point in Resident Evil Requiem.

Restarting the First Two Units

From the center, head toward the Storage Unit. If you move fast, you can turn the power dial before Marie even reaches you. Once this is done, the area will be lit up. Marie cannot enter these spots because of the light, which makes your job much easier.

The Sedimentation Area

Next, follow the path around the area labeled Sedimentation. You might see some ammo along the way that you can grab now or on your way back out. When you get to the unit here, you will find a Molly (Molotov) nearby. You can use that or a Magnum to deal with Marie.

Wait until she starts moving before you shoot, or your bullets will pass right through her. Using the Magnum is better if you are trying to move quickly because a Molly leaves her standing in your way for a while. Once she is stunned, turn the stiff dial to finish the last unit.

Defeating Marie and Reaching Emily

Head back to the elevator in Resident Evil Requiem. and go to the upper level. You can lure Marie toward the side of the room and then activate the roof mechanism.

This will trigger a scene where she is defeated by the light. Once she is gone, your objective will change to returning to Emily.

Walk over to the designated spot to start the final sequence. You will need to aim for the heart of the creature during the scene. Once you land the shot, the process is complete, and the power system will be fully reset.
