RuneScape Dragonwilds Guide | Icthlarin's Little Helper Guide Unlock Carpet Mount

The Magic Carpet Mount is unlocked during the first section of Icthlarin's Little Helper in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. After entering Umbral Sands and reaching Alcarrid Oasis, you must earn the Alcarrid Moon Garou's trust by completing three tasks for Valas, Lagra, and Domri.

Complete The Mirror Crack'd

Speak with Valas to start The Mirror Crack'd. He needs three Adamant Bars to repair the Mirror Relay.

Mine Adamantite Ore around the rocky areas of Alcarrid Oasis, then process it into Adamant Bars at a Blast Furnace. Once you have three Adamant Bars, return to Valas and hand them over.

Complete Rag and Bone Garou

Speak with Lagra to begin Rag and Bone Garou. You need three Raw Farm Meat, three Kalphite Shell Fragments, and three Cactus Steaks.

Raw Farm Meat can be obtained from farm animals such as Rams. Defeat Kalphites for the Kalphite Shell Fragments.

For Cactus Steaks, you need an Adamant Logging Axe. Desert Weed can be processed at a Spinning Wheel into Desert Thread, one of the materials required for the axe. Once equipped, find the small Y-shaped Bunny Cactus plants in Umbral Sands and chop one down. Each provides enough Cactus Steaks for the task.

Return all three requested materials to Lagra. Keep the Raw Farm Meat and Cactus Steaks uncooked when handing them in.

Complete Rogue Trader

Speak with Domri to start Rogue Trader. You must collect three Moonstones from Gypsum deposits in the rocky desert west of Alcarrid.

Bring a Mithril Pickaxe or better and mine the Gypsum deposits in the quest-marked area. Check the nearby cave and surrounding rock formations until all three Moonstones have been collected, then return them to Domri. Completing the task also unlocks his merchant shop.

Unlock and Equip the Magic Carpet

After completing the three Alcarrid tasks, continue the Icthlarin's Little Helper objective and return to the Alcarrid elder. Finishing this first reputation section unlocks the Magic Carpet.

Open the Spells and Mounts interface, find the Magic Carpet in the mount selection, and equip it.

The Magic Carpet is especially useful in Umbral Sands because it moves quickly across the desert and can glide over hazards such as quicksand.

After completing Rogue Trader, The Mirror Crack'd, and Rag and Bone Garou, you can finish the Alcarrid section of Icthlarin's Little Helper and unlock the Magic Carpet Mount.
