RuneScape Dragonwilds Guide | How to Unlock Every Mount

RuneScape: Dragonwilds has two base mount types: the Terrorbird and Magic Carpet. Most additional mounts are cosmetic variants obtained through merchants, regional chests, or rare enemy drops. The Umbral Sands update introduced the Magic Carpet and several new variants.

Unlock the Base Mounts

Complete The Wild Hunt to unlock the default Terrorbird. The default Magic Carpet unlocks during the first section of Icthlarin's Little Helper.

Buy the Merchant Variants

Death in Fellhollow sells Mossbeak Hunter and Oakfeather Raptor for 2,000 Soul Fragments each. Postie Pete's Evil Emporium sells Astralbeak Warbler and Coastal Sunbeak for 2,000 Infernal Fragments each. Domri - The Merchant in Umbral Sands sells Infernal Blightbeak and Zamorakian Pledgesaddle for 9,999 Garou Chits each.

Farm the Terrorbird Variants

In Fellhollow, farm regional chests, Green Dragons, Zogres, and Soulstone Sentinels for Springdown Runner, Grassfoot Screecher, and Leafwood Strider.

In Dowdun Reach, chests, Blue Dragons, Lesser Demons, and Elite Black Knights can provide Summerbellied Wagtail, Eclipseborn Sharpbeak, and Sunkissed Clawfoot.

In Umbral Sands, farm regional chests, Red Dragons, KotHaar-Kal, and Kalphite Guardians for Scorchsummer Ashbeak, Applefeather Mosstail, and Crimson Crybaby.

Farm the Magic Carpet Variants

Uzzerian Umber is a rare drop from Tok-Xil. Moonsilk Weave drops from the Kalphite Queen, which can be fought in two Umbral Sands locations.

Once the two base mounts and all obtainable variants are unlocked, you have access to the complete Terrorbird and Magic Carpet collection covered by these regional mount drops.
