RuneScape Dragonwilds Guide | How to Unlock All Umbral Sands Vestiges Plus Bonus Gear

Umbral Sands contains several rare Vestiges that unlock Power Level 7 Obsidian equipment in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. You can also obtain the Keris, Amulet of Glory, and Skills Necklace while farming the region.

Farm the Obsidian Vestiges

The Elongated Obsidian Construct drops from KotHaar-Hur and unlocks the TokTz-Mej-Tal staff. The Shattered Black Blade (Umbral Sands) comes from KotHaar-Kal and unlocks TokTz-Xil-Ak. The Bludgeoning Obsidian Construct drops from KotHaar-Ket and unlocks the TzHaar-Ket-Om.

Most of these enemies can be farmed around The Burning Spire, making the area useful for rotating between several Vestige sources.

The fourth Vestige is the Unyielding Obsidian Construct. It now drops from Tok-Xil and unlocks the TokTz-Ket-Xil shield.

Unlock the Keris

Travel to the southwest vault beneath Manafem Plains and progress through it until you defeat the Kalphite Queen. The final chest contains the Corroded Curved Blade, which unlocks the Keris. The chest may be difficult to spot around the sand embankment near the exit.

Get the Amulet of Glory and Skills Necklace

Farm Red Dragons throughout Umbral Sands. The Commemorative Coin unlocks the Amulet of Glory, while the Inspiring Insignia unlocks the Skills Necklace. Both are rare Red Dragon drops.

After studying the four Obsidian Vestiges and the bonus Vestiges, you can craft the corresponding Obsidian weapons, shield, Keris, Amulet of Glory, and Skills Necklace.
