Scott Pilgrim EX Guide | Fast Money Farming and Best Early Shop Route

In Scott Pilgrim EX, money is very important because things go much more smoothly once upgrades start to stack. The first mistake is to spend too much before the farming route is ready. 

The best thing to do is to make one character first, keep that run going well, and stop acting like every purchase is an emergency. If cash moves slowly, it's usually because of the route, not the enemies.

First, buy these badges

Honest Ex's in the Shopping District is the best place to stop first. You should go to this store first because it sells the badges that make farming a lot more fun. 

Big Nickel is the first thing you should grab because it makes coins worth more than normal drops. If you already feel safe guarding, it's also a good idea to buy Coin Block early. These two badges make basic fights pay more, which is just what the early game needs.

Don't spend money on too many things at once. It's better to take a cleaner route than to make random upgrades. First, get the coin support. Then, start filling out the stats that make it easier to control regular fights.

Best Early Money Farm

The safest early farm is a route that clears enemies over and over again after the game opens up enough for smoother area loops. This works because Big Nickel makes the small gains add up faster, and large groups drop steady coins. 

The main goal is not to run fast. The goal is to clean rooms quickly, take less damage, and keep the route the same. Even if the fights look slower, a smooth loop will usually win over a messy one.

After you use a Golden Key to get to Seventh Eleven, another good early option opens up. That leads to the Gobliin minigame "Roll the Die," which can become a much faster way to make money once the setup is ready. When normal combat farming starts to feel too slow, this is a better choice.

Best Money Farm for Late Game

The School route is the best way to get to the end of the game after No-Account Video opens up. The Dojo challenge from Simon Lee, called Hell of Fighting 96 Guys, is the best thing to aim for from there. 

This is the money spike that can change a run. The fight brings in a lot of people, but the rewards are so good that it's one of the best ways to quickly get money for upgrades.

At this point, controlling the crowd is more important than speed. Keep your enemies in front of you, save your specials for when you're in a panic, and don't waste health trying to rush the wave. A clean clear makes this challenge one of the best ways to quickly build a character.
