In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you can find powerful weapons to help you combat the difficult foes of the Open World RPG. One of the rare weapons is the Briar Star.

Here's how to get this Exquisite Item via the Bonus Content 2 DLC from March 2026.

Finding the Briar Star

You can get this weapon for your Melee Build in two ways. You could get it as a random find during the Wyrdness.

But the easiest method is to purchase it from a merchant. To do so, you'll need to travel to Cuanacht in Act Two. Seek a merchant called Beor who sells good equipment.

Using the Merchant

Beor can only sell you things when he is in his shop. You can do this by finishing the Change of Heart quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

You can also complete the Heart That Defies quest to gain access to all his services. After helping him, you can get to his shop by teleporting to the Farmlands. Walk over the bridge and go to his shop to view his items.

Using the Briar Star

The Briar Star is a great weapon for breaking enemies' defenses. Whenever you hit an enemy with this weapon, there's a 10% chance to break its armor.

This lasts for 10 seconds, allowing you to deal more damage. If you have completed the quests required, simply check Beor's inventory to get this weapon for your adventure.
