The way to deal with the threats of Avalon is to have the right gear. The Star Catcher is one of the coolest-looking weapons in the game. Here's how to get this weapon from the Bonus Content 2 DLC (released in March 2026).

Locating the Star Catcher

There are two ways to get this weapon in this open-world RPG. You can farm for it during the Wyrdness, where it may appear as an Exquisite Unidentified Item.

Farming can be time-consuming, so you may want to purchase it. To do this, you must travel to Cuanacht in Act Two and find a merchant called Beor.

Using Merchant

Beor will not sell you his items until you have helped him. Complete Change of Heart quest to get him to appear. You may also need to complete Heart that Defies to get his whole stock.

To get to him fast, travel to the Farmlands and cross the bridge. Be aware that Beor is only open during the daytime, so if it's nighttime in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you will need to wait for the sun to rise.

Calling Down Fallen Stars

The Star Catcher is an excellent skill for a Crit Build. If you hit a Critical Hit, you have a 50% chance to summon a Fallen Star.

The star will fall after 3 seconds and do 200% damage to everything within a 5-meter radius. This looks similar to lightning and will deal damage to all enemies around this area.
